The dress uniform

        The Pipe Band's dress uniform is composed of :

• the kilt, in the « Modern Caledonia » tartan,
• the sporran, kind of leather bag,
• a broad belt,
• a pair of knee stockings, with red flashes,
• ghillie brogues, lace-up shoes knotted at the ankles,
• a co-ordinated jacket,
• a Glengarry cap,
• a Sgian Dhu, small dagger slipped into the top of the stocking,
• a necktie bearing the band's badge.

The badge is a reminder of Scotland, symbolised by the St Andrew's Cross, with Paris armorial bearings.
